I ♥ UX

There are many kinds of development, even within software development, and I’ve never considered myself to be just one kind of developer. Where’s the fun in that?!

Games and Game-Like Apps

I have made or contributed to numerous games and game-like apps. Here are just a handful of them. I’ll add more games and more details soon.

Mobile Apps

I’ve made several mobile apps, including some that were never released to the general public. Here are the ones that are publicly available.

Web Sites and Components

I’ve designed and developed lots and lots and lots of web stuff, both public and private. Here are some of my web projects that are publicly accessible.

There’s plenty more where that came from! If there’s anything else you’d like to see, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I’ve developed games, web sites and apps, mobile apps, and more. I’ve worked as a front-end developer, a full-stack developer, and a prototype developer. I’ve written C, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, and languages most people have probably never heard of. I’ve also worked as a designer. As a former boss and mentor put it, I am a “multidisciplinary developer”.

I have extensive agency and freelance experience, so I am accustomed to handling multiple projects involving different disciplines and different technologies, tools, and services. I am also experienced and comfortable with both enterprise environments and distributed teams.

I am highly adaptable, thanks largely to my agency and freelance experience, and I am dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.

I’ve always enjoyed doing development and related activities that involve creativity or communications or which closely affect user experiences—things like user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design and development, quality assurance, and documentation. Recently I’ve also been interested in automation—build systems and such. Developers are users too!

I also very much enjoy writing articles and producing videos to share my knowledge and interests with others.
